Califauna was imagined and developed as an Arts Non-Profit. I wrote the mission statement and created course outlines. Califauna was accepted to operate with 501c3 status through the Pasadena Arts Council. Unfortunately I was not able to launch.
Mission Statement
The goal of Califauna is to bring art education and ecological awareness to California students, elementary through high school; community groups and senior centers. Califauna will provide vital information about maintaining California’s beaches, deserts, and forests; native animals and the effects of urban sprawl and global warming on our surroundings, through the arts.
The Artists Feet was a company I created featuring a line of footwear. Several styles of shoes were available as well as bathing suits and leggings all printed-on-demand with designs that I created. I built a Shopify website for it and was marketing it on Facebook and Instagram.
Head Notes was a note card line that I produced and sold on Etsy. All designs were created by me. Many of the designs that were created for Head Notes have evolved and were used in The Artists Feet and are now available on a variety of products in the McCormickART Society6 store.
Peace Out was a tshirt line I created that featured all my designs based on the peace sign. All designs were printed locally on organic cotton shirts sourced Made in the USA. A full ecommerce site was created for sales in addition to various festivals.
