There are those that will tell you that they just want art that looks nice on the wall. They don’t want to think about it. They just want pretty. Throughout history artists have been at the forefront of representing discontent in political systems. They produce the imagery that called the masses to action. This art form is more important now than ever. Our democracy is under attack by the corporate powers that be. In light of actions of the current administration we must take a stand. Do what we can. As artists we must produce work that calls people to action, that inspires disent.
