Daytripping to Superblue

I recently treated myself to Superblue Miami. I love creativity that embraces technology and all the incredible experiences that can come from it. I decided to just drive down for the day. Yes it is a long drive, but I drive a lot everyday so it wasnt a big deal. My ticket was for 12:00 pm so I left my house with plenty of time to get there. Superblue is locate in the Winwood area of Miami. My favorite artist in the exhibit was Es Devlin. Her instalation was very impactful and really stuck with me. I have been to installations by James Turrell in the past and thouroughly enjoyed them. I was however dissapointed in his offering at Superblue. The light never got bright enough to wash away any sense of boundries creating the lost in a fog sense common at Turrell exhibits.

That being said, I did enjoy the show very much and it was well worth the drive. If you are going to be in the area, get your tickets now! Here is a little video I shot with my phone.
